Making Your Case for Christ
This weekend, September 16th, we will be kicking off the Sermon Series “Making Your Case for Christ”. This study is based on the book “The Case for Christ” by Lee Strobel which retraced his spiritual journey from atheism to faith. During this six-week study, Lee Strobel and his coauthor Mark Mittelberg will give you practical tools to communicate the message of knowing what you believe and sharing your faith with confidence to others.
As you work through this study really pay attention to how you can show, in your everyday life, that you are like Jesus. So many times we miss opportunities to talk with someone because we are in a hurry or have our mind on something else and later realize “Oh I had the perfect opportunity to have a real conversation.” If you happened to be in church over the last couple of weekends you would have seen testimonials by Erica Davies (click here to view on the 411) Mark Novacek (click here for 411) and even one of our Trinity graduates Gabi Mintrup (click here for 411) . I know that we all have these opportunities, but it’s what you do with them that will make all the difference. Invite someone to participate in the study with you. We also have other groups that are open too. Let me know and I can help connect people.
For the study, I have the workbook ($10 apiece) and the DVD that goes with it. Also, the DVD will be available to watch in Trinity’s Conference Room 1 (by the church office) and in the Church Library.
Did you also know there is a movie too! What a great way to come together than to watch a movie. Grab the popcorn and the candy, you don’t want to miss it! Here is a link to the movie’s trailer.
