Trinity Lutheran Church Roselle Illinois > Uncategorized > HURRICANE HARVEY RELIEF COLLECTION

This post was originally published on TheCity

On August 25, 2017 Harvey became a category four hurricane, and is now causing catastrophic and unprecedented flooding in the greater Houston area.

Trinity will be doing an ORANGE BUCKET collection for Hurricane Harvey victims this weekend at all services.

Additionally you can Login in the City click Giving on the left and follow the steps to complete your donation

Trinity will be working with others like; the Texas District who has a relief fund – also Pastor Mark Junkans at LINC Houston (Lutheran Inner-city Network of Congregations).  Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Houston (Nassau Bay – right across the highway from NASA on the southeast side of town) is also setting themselves up as a relief center.  They are a congregation like ours. In other words, we have places to send the money that will help.
